And thank you, Ibu for urging me to buy this book of this writer. I thought that it was full on no nonsense, Islamic ways on how husband and wife should act, accordingly. I was surprised when I found it mildly amusing, grabbing my attention by force. Although I am very sleepy and thinking of reading it as bedtime story, after 55 pages, I am still wide awake and agreeing on most of what he wrote in the book! Seriously, I would ask him to read this before the nikah. Its pretty cool book, and I can't wait to buy Man are from Mars book. I want to buy it a long long time ago, but then thinking it probably not much use. * Judgemental me!* I totally heart this book!

So people, read more books and don't judge a book by its cover!!

As I am lazy to post another post, here something that's funny happened today.

Dad: buy me mestike (Mastika, but since he's mouth is sore he said it like mee chicken)
Sis: Mee Chicken? or Mac Chicken?
Dad: Yes Yes buy me the upcoming month one kay
Sis: A new flavor by McD?or a mee? Where?
Me: May's Mastika eh Dad?
Dad: Yes Yes May's mastika.
Sis: I thought he said Mee chicken or Mac Chicken! LOL

Another one::

Dad: The other day ur mom bought a nice trousers in Little India
Me:In KL?Why should I go that far?
Dad:No, Jusco have one
Me: A new shop is it? But why should I buy one?
Dad:But the material is nice, and its on sale.Buy there if you want to shop.
Me:Oh okay, but I'm broke so probably browsing.

A few minutes later
Dad:Go and buy something in Little India, very nice.
Sis:In Klang??
Dad:No in Jusco.They have sales there, nice material.
Sis:Little India?in Jusco?But I've just went there yesterday....Oh you mean East India?
Me: OHHHH! East India...Or is it British India?
Dad:Yeah Yeah inside Jusco, nice material.

By now, both of us are confused and decided to give up on our conversation with our dad. Teehee. LOL. My dad just agreed with whatever we are saying, but he is totally talking about something else. LOL! When we talked about it in car, we were laughing so much I had tears in my eyes. Gosh my dad is something. XD

The rose bible.

I just burned another hole in my pocket. This time on books *adoration*

Just bought The Rose Bible by Rayford Reddell and falling in love with the flowers (all rose) and the pictures. An another book which is a compilation of three books, which are Aku terima nikahnya, Bercinta sampai ke syurga and Murabbi cinta. It center around love after marriage, the responsibility of husband and wife, and so on. I haven't read it yet, and my mom is the one who asked me to buy it. Not my cup of tea~ But, why not use it as one of the hantaran? As both of us could benefit from it.

Well then, ciao~ am sleepy and hungry. Waiting for lempeng~ yummies~

Love story: Purple reign and modest white

She was born in February, an aquarius at heart, inconsistent, confused and always changing her mind, she baffled most people,including family, friends and foe. Her birth stone is amethyst, so it's probably why she love purple so much. Since its her decision to decorate and so on, she wants purple as her color. Variations of purple, creamy white and blackest black. She could already picture it all on her mind eyes.

She was thinking, feather, white, fluffy feather with lots of creamy white rose and variations of purple orchid for her decorations.

Fat little orchid like this are the one she like best.

Just like the wedding above, incorporating little details she love, feather, orchids, purple and white. And gorgeous wedding plus gorgeous people.

And she had her eyes on this pretty sweet little number by Indonesian label.

Awww. Sweet, floaty, those sheer like outer clothes are just too pretty, But will probably just use baju kurung thou.

Love story: The Talk

It sounds scary isn't it? Most men dreaded the Talk when the girls say "we need to talk". Put it this way, usually girls will give the talk on things they a)disagree b)hate c)thinks the guy is not doing enough d)commitment. No wonder guys get scared!

Today, the girl and the boy had a talk. & not only them, but with the girl's parents too! They talk on wedding plans, the date, the risik (asking the girl if she is still single), tunang (engagement), nikah (the registration or wedding), hantaran (the gifts to each other) and so on. Such a serious talk but it had to be done. They need to work through their budget and think on what to skimp, what to save, and on must have. They decided a lot today. And we'll see how they get through it this time.

Already the dreamer and planner in the girl work extra extra hard. The themes, the color, the decoration, the favors. The list could go on and on and on. Since they are both fair, they chose white as their theme color. The boy wants all white, but agrees with anything the girl choose. So the girl added her favorite color as complimenting the white.

Since he is all the way from Sarawak, they will do the risik, tunang and nikah in one day or in a row. The reception will be held later on as both are still young, immature, and pretty much broke. :P And since they do not want anyone to sponsor, they will only nikah first and see when it fits to have their reception. During nikah, only family members will be invited (those who live few mere kilometers away) but somehow the girl wants to sneak in one or two (or even eight!) of her best and closest friends.

Her dad urged them to go for the pre wedding course first, and so they will try to fit in according to their *hectic* schedule. This weekend, already past. Next weekend, nope, he got a tournament. *Best of luck darling!* Two weeks from now...Hurm the place is not convenient. 1st May...Nope, her friend is getting married *Congratulations Mira!Bless you for embarking this journey so soon!* The second weekend? Maybeeee.. The third weekend? "I'm probably in Swiss by then,honey." ohhh. She's going to miss him soooooo effing badddd!Two freaking weeks, without communication!*Except for stray emails, or...could they IM each other?Probably.Hopefully...*

She's start thinking about the flowers. Oh she love her flowers. And she would want them in her wedding, no matter how broke they are. Pfttt. Should she have that mini dais? Or she could just prop her sofa as the dais? Well she's probably diy something on her way there. One of her friends call her multi purpose. So of course she could do that. Or attempt to, at least. XD

Well I wish them both best of luck, and hopefully they stay sober and in love amidst all this craziness.

Go away, pimples!

I just bought the whole skincare product from Clinique, I read lots of positive review, am hoping that my skin could finally clear up. Hopefully, the pimples, dryness, redness could go away, fast! Pretty skin, come to me please! Since I just burned a hole in my pocket today. Tsk tsk. But if my skin did clear up, then its money worthy. :)
