Bunga Rampai

Hey you.

I'm obsessed with Bunga Rampai.

I love flowers, and I love pandan leaves.

Mom against this as she said too much work, but I think a lot of my friends will be coming a day earlier and they will have to do this! XD

So, I know we need Pandan leaves, and flowers. But I have no idea which one. probably roses, and orchids, and something that smell nice (kenanga, siku dangan, melur, sundal malam)

I was thinking of packing it in a small lace bag, which I bought the lace at US, and tied it up with purple ribbon with a rose and put it in a nice rattan basket.. 

And I found one online::

But mine will be white or purple or whatever ( 1 girl will be holding this.)

Instead of cupcake, make it bunga rampai style! XD

So yeah, will make my one of the gadis dulang *pinjam ayat Reene* bring this around and another 7 bring other 7 dulang.

Tunang or Nikah?

I'm not only getting engaged, I'm getting married as well!

So, yes I'm excited, nervous, happy, crazily guarding the secret.

It's only confirm last 3 weeks, am thinking of doing engagement, but since his family is far away we were thinking of engagement + nikah as well, no nikah gantung for me, I don't believe in that.

We discuss with our family, *it's nightmare!* and finally, finally done all those things needed.

Got my HIV test, got my pre-wedding course, need to submit those forms and what not.

So far, for preparation, I think there's a lot to do if you opted to diy.

So many things to chose, so many things to do!

Since I'm doing a lot of diy-ing and not doing the traditional way and in a very tight time frame, a few blessed people help and sponsored my day. Thank you and blessed you people!

Now currently focusing on sewing lace on my tulle, for veil, and making favors bags, with >7 design!

Planning all this makes me feel like a sweet nightmare.
Too many things to do, too little time..

Oh well, another 26 days and there it is, all will be over (well the planning, that is!)

I just want a good night sleep.

Weekend, Suzuki Swift and Kia Forte

Had a busy busy busyyy weekend this week.

I searched for my room's new set of bedroom 

Then had to tidy up my room (since mine was mom's hands down, so I need to work a lot! Never been bothered as I wasn't there much, but need to do so now.)

Coz of tidying up, I had the worst asthma in 10years!

But it was worth it thou.

Just 25% finished thou.

Here's some of the stuff::

So I spend nearly 6hours on this:: 

Uhh much more better. Maybe I could tidy it up more later. XD

So on Sunday I went to car shopping and reviewing with boyfie.

So first we went to Suzuki, to look at the Swift. 

I always adore them, too bad there's only 5 colors :(

On the road price is RM65XXX, so if no down payment, monthly will be around 750, and if with down payment can be much more cheaper. 

+, I think it s much more better than buying overpriced Myvi. *just my 2 cent*

So yeah, was thinking maybe later..or sooner! XD

Then we went for lunch (3pm, my stomach is starvingggg)

DIY : decorating the room

Hey you.

So, yeah, today post is about The Room.

My room is very dark purple(1 side ) and white (other sides), however since my room is my parent old room, so there are a lot of stuff in there, esp mom's nursing stuff, which I just spend the last 6 hours cleaning files, folders and blah9. Tiring!

So the Room that will be used is my sis' one.

The problem: its in yellow

why am I considering it as a problem?

Coz I hate yellow.

Okay not hate, but, it doesn't flatter me, or whatever.

I have no reason, I just dislike it, period.

So I am now thinking of how to incorporate this light yellow room into my grand scheme...

Hurmmm....

So yeah, googling help (and I have no idea where all this came from, coz I just have the pics and internet so slow I could kill myself before the full link load.

So I searched bout yellow and purple room, and I found these, and ... it haven't change my mind yet on yelloww....

Coz he said after this I can't possibly sleep in single bed any more huh?

Next time, I'm gonna diy drapes for the mini dais, then something for the bed. *I can't remember the name, the one we put up for keeping the mosquito out? what d hell is it?*

DIY : Guest book from envelopes

Hey hey!

Since I didn't have any cards for my day, and I have 500 little brown envelopes lying around, so I decided to do a guest book based on the envelopes.
As usual, Pak Google have been generous with me with some of these jewels:

Different colors yet in the same shade would probably work, and I'm thinking of peach, purple and salmon pink.

True love, till death do us apart..

True, long lasting love is hard to come by these days. Which is what makes a story like one so touching.

Gordon and Norma Yeager were the definition of soul mates. Having been married for 72 years, last Wednesday after a car accident, the lovers passed away within an hour of each other, holding hands as they crossed over.

The couple from Iowa were married the day Norma graduated high school in 1939. They are survived by their two children, Donna and Dennis, 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Gordon is remembered as a sociable, fun loving party animal, while mum Norma was quieter, organised and considered a perfectionist. The couple rarely spent any time apart and according to their children 'were committed to each other for life'.

When the couple lay in hospital together holding hands after their accident, Gordon stopped breathing. But the heart monitor was still going strong because of Norma's heartbeat.

'Her heart was beating through him and picking it up,' Dennis said.

At their funeral on Tuesday, Norma, 90 and Gordon, 94, held hands while sharing the same casket. After they are cremated, their ashes will be mixed together, according to their family.

DIY : Candy wrapper

Hey peeps!

I was eating one of the melt in your mouth, chocolate milk coated chocolate, when I was hit with the idea of making the candy wrapper myself, with the names and date, so I googled it down and I found this gems::

It was pretty easy to do it, whether using publisher or just by scrapped paper and glue or taped it on the back.

Pretty, simple, and custom-made just for u!

So if I did it, will post it out later! :)

P.s (edited) well, again, it's not in any Quran or Hadith, but a from an Imam,  IMAM JAAFAR AS-SODIQ A.S., so it doesn't mean that any date you choose automatically is not good, or good for you. If the things you do it is bad, so automatically it's bad even if you do it on a good day. For example, 30th is a good day, but you went clubbing, drinking. So whatever you do, as long as you do it with a sense of awareness doing it for Allah Swt, so, InsyaAllah it will be good. This is just a sharing, doesn't mean it is true.


One thing more, even if you chose an auspicious day, ex 30th, but you make the event too grand, that you have to borrow from bank and you did it not because you want to share your happiness, but so that people will think of you highly, so it doesn't make it good too, right? So, whatever you did, it depends on yourself, and your intention or niat. :))

DIY:: Bantal hantaran

Hello people.

How are you doing today?

Me, not so good. 

But I wonder why when people ask you, how are you, even we are so down, we will said, yeah we are fine, how are u?

 Or even when we said nah we are very this and that, and they will not listen?

Tee hee. I guess, it's just politeness, eh?

Oh well..

Last weekend, I made this lil project on bantal or "pillow" hantaran.

I love DIY, but since the engagement will be just around the corner, so I made this super easy, even the most un-creative people could also do this!

This is so bloody easy, I finished it less than 2hours only for 7 pillow!

Okay so the things U'll need will be::

Polystyrene that shaped like pillow ( I bought rm5.80 for one)

Sponge ( rm1.50 1 strip, a strip could cover 1 polystyrene)

Piece of clothing. (mine is dark purple jersey!) 

And the most important is this glue gun! ( RM3 for gun, RM2 for 10 sticks of glue)

1.Lay down the sponge

2. Lay down the polystyrene on top of the sponge

3.Glue one side together

Tadaa

4. Glue the other side, then glue in between gaping between polystyrene and sponge

Tadaa, the spongy polystyrene~

Lastly, glue the fabric together. 

I didn't even make it very put together, just throw everything out and I think it turns out rather well, isn't it?

After that you can decorate it with strips of sequins, blings2, crystal, fur, feather, tulle or whatever rock ur boat!

Haven't decorate mine yet, but when I did, I will post it out!

So, what's next for me?

1. Deco the bantals

2. Crochet small pillow for his watch

3. Make two bantal for sofa

4. Confirm flowers

5. Buy stuff for flowers (sponge, flower wire and tape, ribbon)

I think this will keep me busy busy busyyy~
