November is here, again.

A year ago, I'm probably busy tying up lose end, making last minutes call, making last minute DIY, making sure everything is ready for my wedding day. Fast forward one year later, I'm pregnant with our first child, we moved house to a more comfortable and nicer house, we have one car, we survive few tragic accidents and bad news, and move forward as we received blessings and love for everyone else.

Nearly a year!

I find that life could be strange and beautiful at times, and depressing and gloomy at the other time. I'm making a lot of DIYs at home, and I haven't had time to upload or blog much nowadays as I'm more busy than ever. My projects currently including DIY hand bouquet, DIY hantaran for my bff, DIY blanket for the baby, and actually a secret gift for a friend. Hopefully I could finish everything in time. Amin.

The inspiration~

I bought a rocker chair yesterday, so I could rock our baby to sleep, cradling in rocker just like how I remember I used to be rocked in the chair. And I bought the rocker above to entertain the baby when I'm busy doing something else.

I'm now decorating the baby's nursery with a very small budget. The inspiration is the baby rocker, I'm so loving the green and blue combination. For the baby's furniture (the angry bird ones), I'm now trying to put a matching wallpaper (blue and green leaves on black paper) on the door, so it matches with others. I'm also making a mobile from my wedding pom poms and lanterns. And will be making the bed sheet as well as the bed bumper. My gosh I have lotsa DIY to do! I certainly have to find time to take pictures, and upload and blog more! *My November wish*

DIY : Hanging ribbons. Canopy bed. Memo board.

There's something about ribbon and laces that speaks so much, and I adore them so.

Not only its cheap (1 inch wide satin ribbon cost around rm4, which could cover a lot of places) , its usable to every single thing, deco, hantaran, escort cards, on menu cards, on invitation cards, photo booth and many more!

The choices are endless!

However, am thinking of making this for photo booth and also incorporate them in pelamin. :)

DIY : decorating the room

Hey you.

So, yeah, today post is about The Room.

My room is very dark purple(1 side ) and white (other sides), however since my room is my parent old room, so there are a lot of stuff in there, esp mom's nursing stuff, which I just spend the last 6 hours cleaning files, folders and blah9. Tiring!

So the Room that will be used is my sis' one.

The problem: its in yellow

why am I considering it as a problem?

Coz I hate yellow.

Okay not hate, but, it doesn't flatter me, or whatever.

I have no reason, I just dislike it, period.

So I am now thinking of how to incorporate this light yellow room into my grand scheme...

Hurmmm....

So yeah, googling help (and I have no idea where all this came from, coz I just have the pics and internet so slow I could kill myself before the full link load.

Coz he said after this I can't possibly sleep in single bed any more huh?

So, I try fall cleaning it. 

So spending my evening and night on brushing books, folders and files and documents.

I had the worst flu + cough + asthma!

But hey my room is 25% cleaner

Yeapppp there's the other 75%, and soooo maybe I'll do it next week pulak.

Weekend spending my time here, and weekdays I need to tidy up my other house pulak

Next time, I'm gonna diy drapes for the mini dais, then something for the bed. *I can't remember the name, the one we put up for keeping the mosquito out? what d hell is it?* 

Oh well, wanna go sleep now!

DIY:: Bantal hantaran

Hello people.

How are you doing today?

Me, not so good. 

But I wonder why when people ask you, how are you, even we are so down, we will said, yeah we are fine, how are u?

 Or even when we said nah we are very this and that, and they will not listen?

Tee hee. I guess, it's just politeness, eh?

Oh well..

Last weekend, I made this lil project on bantal or "pillow" hantaran.

I love DIY, but since the engagement will be just around the corner, so I made this super easy, even the most un-creative people could also do this!

This is so bloody easy, I finished it less than 2hours only for 7 pillow!

Okay so the things U'll need will be::

Polystyrene that shaped like pillow ( I bought rm5.80 for one)

Sponge ( rm1.50 1 strip, a strip could cover 1 polystyrene)

Piece of clothing. (mine is dark purple jersey!) 

And the most important is this glue gun! ( RM3 for gun, RM2 for 10 sticks of glue)

1.Lay down the sponge

2. Lay down the polystyrene on top of the sponge

3.Glue one side together

Tadaa

4. Glue the other side, then glue in between gaping between polystyrene and sponge

Tadaa, the spongy polystyrene~

Lastly, glue the fabric together. 

I didn't even make it very put together, just throw everything out and I think it turns out rather well, isn't it?

After that you can decorate it with strips of sequins, blings2, crystal, fur, feather, tulle or whatever rock ur boat!

Haven't decorate mine yet, but when I did, I will post it out!

So, what's next for me?

1. Deco the bantals

2. Crochet small pillow for his watch

3. Make two bantal for sofa

4. Confirm flowers

5. Buy stuff for flowers (sponge, flower wire and tape, ribbon)

I think this will keep me busy busy busyyy~

First, on Deco!
My fav : tulle!

I absolutely heart tulle as it has an air of airiness and romance floating around it. 

I bought few metres of it, in gray color, and planning to do it tonight, (if I didn't fall asleep XD)

Am going to make a few small puff and big ones for the dais and photo booth!

a. Wreath

I planned to do lotsa baby breath wreath and hang it around my house, with different length and sizes!

It look so pretty hanging around, swaying to and fro, isn't it?

Makes a great back drop too! XD

I love the full look of this. Pretty!

Unfortunately I think Malaysian baby breath is more like this, a bit bare, but pretty nonetheless. 

The ribbon just make it more sweeter!

It's cute when my girls have this in hand, huh?

So for hantaran, I'm gonna buy fresh flowers online, (mine from www.irtrade2u.com) 

and I'm going to buy purple, soft pink, white with pink accent, peach, shocking pink and cream.
